DO YOU THINK GOD IS BETTER THAN SEX?
DO YOU AGREE WITH THE CURRENT SEX CULTURE?
DO YOU WANT TO REPENT TO GOD ON WHAT YOU COMMITTED AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS?

Come join us on Nov 19 and learn about what God really intended sex to be, and live your life according to it.
This is a campaign organized by UBC Chinese Christian Fellowship.
On that day, we will sell purity rings and all make a promise to God regarding our commitment to sexual purity.

Why are we doing this???
In today's world, sexual purity is no longer valued and it's seen as something easily disposed. Ever since the sexual revolution in 1960s, the topic of sex has flooded the media, music, books, movies, etc. Sex has become a social activity, a recreational sport, and a means to satisfy own desires. It's no longer an act of matrimony that couples reserve until marriage.
As Christians, we are called to be the salt and light of the world. We have a mission to live out God's way instead of the world's way. That is why our mission this term is to spread the word to all of us on campus why sexual purity is so important to God and to us.

What we believe in???
We believe that God intended sex to be good, but only in marriage. It is something so special and pure that it can only be shared between husband and wife. If we go against how God intended it to be, sex outside of marriage will not only destroy our own lives, but it will also destroy our relationships with other people and our relationship with God.

Our Action & Goal
On November 19th, UBC CCF is organizing a pledge to sexual purity ceremony where students who are committed to sexual purity before marriage will unit and pledge together. It is a covenant between you and God, a promise you make to God that you will guard your body and mind from sexual impurity. However, it's also more than just an internal testament. The ceremony is also a testimony to the campus and to the world of what you believe in and what you stand for. We will boldly and publicly declare to UBC who we are and what we believe in.
